While It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown may be among the most well known Halloween animated cartoons, there are many others that kids and adults alike might find fun to watch around the holiday. One example is The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror Halloween special. Each year FOX airs a special Treehouse of Horror episode featuring spooky things going on around Simpsons characters. From cursed monkeys to evil robots, the annual special brings something new each time. Other Halloween cartoons include Garfield's Halloween Adventure and South Park: Ghouls, Ghosts and Underpants Gnomes.

The Iron Giant is Classical Cartoon
One of my sons' favorite movies right now is The Iron Giant. It is about a robot that falls to earth and doesn't remember his purpose. He was created to be a weapon but with the help of a little boy named Hogarth, the robot learns that he can be whatever he chooses. I think one of the best lines in the movie is, "You are who you choose to be." That is such a simple statement but it really sums up how we live our lives.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is Populer Cartoon
"The Last Airbender," by M. Night Shyamalan is the live action adaptation of the popular Nickelodeon cartoon, "Avatar: The Last Airbender." The series and the movie are set in a land where martial artists can control, or bend, the four elements (earth, fire, air, and water). The main character is Aang who is the Avatar; a being who is the bridge between the real world and the spirit world. The Avatar can bend all four elements, where all other benders can only bend one element.

Lady and the Tramp in Love Cartoon
A beautiful tale about love that isn't quite a fairy tale and it is done brilliantly. Here, we have two lovers who are from different walks of life. The Lady falls in love with the homeless Tramp and they both find a change inside of their hearts. Well voiced and it has a tale that will still bring most people to tears. This is a phenomenal classic that shouldn't be missed.

Because as Gaston proved, beauty is only skin deep.

Bambi Beautifull Cartoon
Heartbreaking and real, the film was about growing up and finding out that even in our darkest hours we can find the truth. This is one of the few times that a movie has touched many people in dramatic ways, and was brilliantly done with strong vocal actors.
